Nepopo is an abbreviation for Negative, Positive, Positive. It is a training system developed by Bart Bellon. Nepopo (R) is a registered trademark of Michael and Bart Bellon and is used here with their permission.<\/p>\n
Negative, Positive, Positive (Nepopo) involves the dog receiving two positive rewards after a negative reinforcement. This method has been scientifically proven effective for any animal, regardless of breed, background, etc. It teaches the dog to prepare for the day when we need to use negative reinforcement for unwanted behavior. When the dog accepts and understands negative reinforcement, it becomes easier for him; they themselves enjoy exhibiting good behavior. On this basis, we build dogs that can later enjoy freedom without a leash and can also work off-leash, with the assurance that the dog responds correctly and with pleasure to commands, even in a distracting environment.<\/p>\n
